InterContinental Hotel Group (IHG) announced that they have acquired the luxury hotels Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas for $300 million.
Six Senses currently manages 16 properties around the world with around 50 more in the pipeline.

Acquisition Details
- IHG has acquired Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas and its management business for $300 million in cash from Pegasus Capital Advisors.
- Six Senses currently manages 16 hotels and resorts and another 18 in the immediate pipeline.
- The open hotels also include 2 properties for the upscale resort brand Evason.
- The acquisition includes the entirety of Six Senses Brands and operating companies and does not include any real estate assets.
- Six Senses operates 37 spas under the Six Senses and LivNordic brand names which is also included in the acquisition.
- The acquisition now puts IHG’s luxury portfolio to over 400 hotels worldwide.
Summary
We are excited that the luxury hotel Six Senses Zighy Bay Oman is now part of IHG. Six Senses Spa is also located in Dubai in the Renaissance Downtown Hotel. We hope the integration happens sooner, and Six Senses hotels would be redeemable on IHG Reward Club Points.
