The United Arab Emirates is a popular travel destination, and the one thing that’s on the rise are hotels in the region. UAE is now home to over 500 hotels and over 100 new hotels are expected in the next 3-5 years. Hilton was one of the first group of hotels to have entered UAE back in the day.

Hilton Al Ain, located in Al Ain was the first ever Hilton Hotel that started construction in 1968 and launched in 1971. It was the only branded hotel in Al Ain and has served millions of visitors since then.

On December 31, 2018, this iconic Hilton hotel shut its doors, and left the Hilton Honors program. It can no longer be booked on Hilton.com or via the Hilton Honors app. It is now set to rebrand as Radisson and re-launch in April 2019.

Hilton has a good coverage of over 25 hotels in UAE. You can find a list of all the existing and upcoming Hilton Hotels in UAE here.

Note, in Al Ain, another good hotel to book on points is a Marriott Category 1 – Aloft Al Ain for only 7500 Marriott Points / night. It is located right next to the Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium at Al Ain Square.
