The JW Marriott Hotel, Dubai was a Category 4 Marriott Hotel redeemable at 25,000 Bonvoy points, and it was conveniently located close to the Dubai International Airport (DXB). It used to be a popular choice for business travelers back in the day.

The hotel officially opened its doors on October 6, 1993, and we’re sad to see it close down after running successfully for 26 years. We’re still not sure of the reason for the closure. Recently, the Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi also closed down in less than 1 year of its opening.
Edit: Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi reopened 2 months after possible shut down
