Roxy Plus, a loyalty program by Roxy Cinemas
On 17th June 2019, Roxy Cinemas launched Roxy Plus – a new loyalty program with elite membership levels and tiers based on your spend.
It is available on the website and the latest Roxy Cinemas UAE app version 2.0 on your iPhone, and 4.0 on your Android.
Roxy Plus is designed to easily earn points on all your spending at Roxy Cinemas, from tickets to food, beverages and experiences.

Download the app to track your status and points in real-time. Scan your digital Roxy Plus card to collect points in all our cinemas.

Use your points to get free Silver Plus, Gold Plus and Platinum Plus tickets or choose from over 20 food and beverage options.
Enjoy exclusive events, offers and invites
As a Roxy Plus member you’ll receive invites to exclusive advanced movie screenings, menu tastings, events and premieres. The more points you earn the more invites you get!
There are two things to consider here. One is the earning structure, and the second, the different tier levels based on your spending.
Once you join Roxy Plus using your existing login with Roxy Cinemas, you attain the Silver Plus tier (more on levels and tiers below), and a free welcome popcorn for signing up 🙂
Then the earn structure for Silver tier is pretty straight-forward:
AED 1 Spent = 1 Roxy Plus Point
You will only earn points when you purchase when logged in to your Roxy Plus Account or when you present the card at the cinema.
You will NOT earn points if you have not logged into your Roxy Plus account while booking online or scanned your digital card while purchasing in the cinema. Roxy Plus Points can be redeemed for cinema tickets and food and beverage, they cannot be redeemed for cash.

Large Popcorn – 400 Points
Get a Large Popcorn for 400 points
Food and Beverage – 700 Points
For 700 points choose from a selection of 20 Combo meals, or treat yourself to any of our 13 main courses from the Platinum Plus menu.
Choose from 12 Combo meals at food and beverage counters in Roxy Cinema City Walk and The Beach or choose from 3 Combo meals when you order online. 13 Main courses are available when you select a Platinum Plus experience in Roxy City Walk and The Beach, Roxy La Mer experience or The Roxy Boxpark experience.
Silver Plus Ticket – 1000 Points
Get a Silver Plus ticket for 1,000 points.
Gold Plus Ticket or La Mer Experience Ticket – 1250 Points
Get a Gold Plus ticket or La Mer Cinema experience for 1,250 points.
Platinum Plus Ticket or The ROXY Boxpark Experience – 2000 Points
Get a Platinum Plus ticket or The Roxy Boxpark experience for 2,000 points.
Note: You will only earn points when you buy tickets or food and beverage, not when they are redeemed using points.

Roxy Plus comes with 3 levels, and each have their own exciting benefits

Silver Level – Free to Join
- Get a free large popcorn of your choice after you become a Roxy Plus member. Popcorn can be picked up at our food and beverage counters in all cinemas.
- We give you 1 point for every dirham you spend, online and in the cinema!
- Book on the website or via our iOS or Android mobile apps and you receive an additional 5 Roxy Plus points per booking.
- Redeem your points for Silver Plus, Gold Plus or Platinum Plus tickets.
- Use your Roxy Plus points to redeem from 20 Combo meals and main courses.
Gold Level – Earn 2,500 Points to Unlock
All benefits of Silver Level, plus these exclusive benefits for Gold:
- 5% discount on all food and beverage bought in Roxy Cinemas. Please ask a member of staff for assistance at the food and beverage counter.
- Get 2 Gold Plus tickets for the price of 2 Silver Plus tickets each year.
- Receive a complimentary experience at one of the following attractions: Laguna Waterpark, The Green Planet, Hub Zero or Mattel Play! Town.
- Receive a Gold Plus movie ticket for the anniversary month you joined Roxy Plus.
- Receive invites to advanced screenings, menu tastings and special events.
You need to earn 2,500 points within 12 months to become a Gold Roxy Plus member. To stay in the Roxy Plus Gold Level and keep the benefits, you need to earn 2,500 points within 12 months of becoming a Gold member. If you don’t earn 2,500 points you will become a Silver member again.
Platinum Level – Earn 5,000 Points to Unlock
All benefits of Silver and Gold Level, plus these exclusive benefits for Platinum:
- 10% discount on all food and beverage bought in Roxy Cinemas. Please ask a member or staff for assistance at the food and beverage counter.
- A complimentary meal in Platinum Plus to celebrate reaching this level.
- A Platinum Plus movie ticket to celebrate your birthday.
- Exclusive Platinum Plus offers throughout the year.
You need to earn 5,000 points within 12 months to become a Platinum Roxy Plus member. To stay in the Roxy Plus Platinum Level and keep the benefits, you need to earn 5,000 points within 12 months of becoming a Platinum member. If you earn less than 5,000 points but more than 2,500 points you will become a Gold member again. If you don’t earn 2,500 points in this period you will become a Silver member again.

It’s exciting to see new loyalty programs with amazing benefits on things we already do – movies 🙂
Roxy Plus will be a good incentive for movie-goers to put more spend on Roxy Cinemas given that they’re getting even more benefits. I gotta go redeem my free popcorn now 😉
